From start to finish my pool experience went without a problem. The pool build was started on time, but then the rainy season hit. Even with the rain delays, Randy Doss the project manager finished my pool on time for our 4th of July party.

User's recommendation: If you can choose a project manager, choose Randy.

No help on local levels

I paid cash to build a pool, at the start the project manager stated he would inspect each step which was not true. It has been a total mid management disaster from the start. From scheduling to quality follow ups, I found most all the issues and had to report it. I am very dis satisfied not only that I purchased a pool but the entire experience was not exciting or pleasurable. My neighbors laugh that out pool still in the process when they recommended me to Mckinny pools

Many delays, poor communication with Dan &; his crew with the completion of our pool. We have had major issues and Dan Is not making the problem any better.

After spending over $80 thousand dollars on our dream pool Not even a year after the pool was completed a small tile cracked Mind you the tile cracked during the COVID 19 pandemic A worker from the company showed up to tell me that our warranty expired a month ago like I said during the pandemic I tried everything to get the tile changed Emails phone calls even an email to the corporate company No response No calls were returned No response from emails Very unprofessional I would definitely not recommend your company to my friends and family!

Fix my cracked tile

Extremely poor experience

We signed a contract for a new pool on May 24th, 2020 under the assurance of a 30 business day build (this was contractual and the primary reason we chose Anthony & Sylvan) post permits and other permissions. Based on the assumption that it would take 5 weeks for the aforementioned, we expected to be swimming by mid August. Today is November 2nd and we aren't even close to complete (some 2.5 months and counting later). In fact, the dates for all the trades continues to move with no prior or post warning of cancellations. Our deck pour was supposed to be today (4th date) and yet again no one showed up. The communication is poor at best with excuse after excuse as to why the pool isn't completed yet.

You guys built a pool for me years back and I went to sell my house and the city is saying that you built it over the build line. I need proof that the city agreed to allow you to build a house and it went through the final inspection.

The city has it incomplete. I cannot close on my house until I have proof which is on October 29

Problems Unanswered/Nonresponsive

I purchased a pool in VA, and after having a 7+ month installation (3 months longer than stated), I identified plaster issues. I was assured they would be addressed prior to opening this year. That was November 2019. It's now the last week of August and still the issues with my plaster and tile have not been addressed. I've sent several emails and absolutely nothing has encouraged their response to get these issues addressed. Schedule and cancellation, make me revenues warranty work, schedule and cancel again. Emails are no longer even returned....

Totally dissatisfied with Anthony Sylvan pools Katy TX. My backyard has been looking like a war zone for 3 months and the pool is still not completed after more than 3 months

We call and cannot get your reps on the phone. They show up when they want which unfortunately is not frequent.

They have failed to order parts on time and when they do and install the parts, they do not work. We still have to wallow through the mud, incomplete yard after the disaster, just to control the lights or filter pumps.

This has been one of the worst experiences we have had during the construction of our home - Never Never will we use AS pools again

The plaster on my pool looks like it has dirt stains throughout the sides and bottom. Very visible and embarrassing.

The pool is just over 2 years old. A warranty claim was denied due to the warranty only covering plaster stains for one year.

I understand this. However just be warned, if you want a pool that will look good for longer than 2 years I would avoid this company.

I avoided rating the company due to no option available below one star.

User's recommendation: Avoid this company. This is my third pool and have never seen anything like this.

Everything they did had an issue. It has been almost a year and the issues are still not corrected.

We have consistently emailed and provided photos from day 1 and they still refuse to correct the issues. The customer service is horrific, the quality is horrific. They couldn't even install a diving board correctly, which is probably the easiest part of the pool installation process. Stay away, you won't get what you pay for.

Check reviews on BBB and Google, most are not good.

Also there is a ruling from a complaint with the Attorney General in New Jersey that can be searched on Google and read. It seems to be all the same complaints over and over and they just continue to ignore them.
