PLEASE READ HOW SYLVAN TREATS LONG TIME CUSTOMERS. I complained before and Owen ****** wanted me to write a letter and lie to get my first post off. I bought two pools from them. Spent thousands and thousands of dollars during the last 20 years. After the last email from them (below) Owen ******* called me and said "Sylvan doesn't want to do business with you". I can't believe they put this response in writing and they told me to go away on the phone. That's not all. I recently had to sent them a letter to put me on their do not contact list. Why? For some unknown reason Owen calls my fiancé and starts harassing her. Please do your homework before doing business here. Th emails in reverse chronological order:

I have bought two Anthony Sylvan pools. My first in Robbinsville NJ where I lived for approximately 8 years. I loved my pool and received a number of coupons for supplies due to my referrals.

In 2008 I purchased my second pool in Wrightstown, PA. I have replaced the filter, pumps, and last summer the heater with your company. The service was never at the same level as in NJ, but it was acceptable. Last summer I reported my chlorinator wasn't working and an algae issue resulted. A couple of times a technician came out to remedy the situation. My favorite time was when I called servicing in Doylestown and the women reported to me the chlorinator was turned off. I think I know the difference between on and off, I however gave the benefit of the doubt. Or course I had to call back. There was even an attempt to rebuild the chlorinator but that didn't work. So I spent three months in 2015 scrubbing the walls weekly. No matter how much chlorine I put into the floating devices, it never worked. I have a big pool. I did spend a couple of grand on a new heater that year.

So now we come to 2016. Early on I reported the chlorinator isn't working as the chlorine never dissipated. Technicians came out and, well the short story is same chlorinator, same problem. Now it's June and the algae is back. So aggravated with a lack of success of finding a remedy I send mean comments to your Facebook, to Yelp, to anyone I could complain. Also, I had been in therapy for 6 months for herniated discs in my back. Brushing the pool every week didn't help.

Then, Owen ******* comes into help. I could tell immediately this was a person who was angry. He didn't like my posted comments. I explained after two years I was tired of the same problem. His major thrust was to remove my comments from public view which I promptly obliged. After going back and forth I for almost a month I finally got my chlorinator replaced at no cost and had my pool opening fee refunded. Actually it was charged to me again in error and after contacting Owen it was resolved. Another simple thing that wasn't done correctly or perhaps it was on purpose and maybe I wouldn't notice. You'd think credit and debit is simple to understand and execute.

Please keep in mind that starting the summer of 2015 I was in intense physical therapy for my back. For two summers I had to brush the pool because of a poor chlorinator. Being a customer for over 20 years I never ever complained until last year. I had to go to extreme measures to get my small problem fixed. It was bizarre. You service department made me think I was crazy as I was told my chlorinator was operating but the chlorine wasn't dissolving. And every weekend, I would scrub the pool. At the end Owen sends me the letter below. My take is we are shaking hands goodbye to "the chlorinator problem" and he would do my closing for free. I admit never reading it as he intended which was after two years we resolved your problem now go f--- yourself.

I always close mid to late October so when no one came on the date the appointment was made I assumed they just forgot again. This has happened in the past and what I alluded to in the beginning of this letter. So I contacted Owen as he instructed me to do with any future problems and he said basically get out and stay out.

I've called others to close my pool and they are obviously booked so my pool is still opened. Oh, the day the chlorinator was fixed was the last day my almost new heater worked. I didn't realize this until I turned on the hot tub on Labor Day weekend.

So I plead for your assistance. Owen has an obvious vendetta against me. Or perhaps this is your policy of treating long term costum
