You guys built a pool for me years back and I went to sell my house and the city is saying that you built it over the build line. I need proof that the city agreed to allow you to build a house and it went through the final inspection.

The city has it incomplete. I cannot close on my house until I have proof which is on October 29

Problems Unanswered/Nonresponsive

I purchased a pool in VA, and after having a 7+ month installation (3 months longer than stated), I identified plaster issues. I was assured they would be addressed prior to opening this year. That was November 2019. It's now the last week of August and still the issues with my plaster and tile have not been addressed. I've sent several emails and absolutely nothing has encouraged their response to get these issues addressed. Schedule and cancellation, make me revenues warranty work, schedule and cancel again. Emails are no longer even returned....

Totally dissatisfied with Anthony Sylvan pools Katy TX. My backyard has been looking like a war zone for 3 months and the pool is still not completed after more than 3 months

We call and cannot get your reps on the phone. They show up when they want which unfortunately is not frequent.

They have failed to order parts on time and when they do and install the parts, they do not work. We still have to wallow through the mud, incomplete yard after the disaster, just to control the lights or filter pumps.

This has been one of the worst experiences we have had during the construction of our home - Never Never will we use AS pools again

User's recommendation: we will tell everyone we know NOT to use Anthony Sylvan to build their pool.

The plaster on my pool looks like it has dirt stains throughout the sides and bottom. Very visible and embarrassing.

The pool is just over 2 years old. A warranty claim was denied due to the warranty only covering plaster stains for one year.

I understand this. However just be warned, if you want a pool that will look good for longer than 2 years I would avoid this company.

I avoided rating the company due to no option available below one star.

User's recommendation: Avoid this company. This is my third pool and have never seen anything like this.

Everything they did had an issue. It has been almost a year and the issues are still not corrected.

We have consistently emailed and provided photos from day 1 and they still refuse to correct the issues. The customer service is horrific, the quality is horrific. They couldn't even install a diving board correctly, which is probably the easiest part of the pool installation process. Stay away, you won't get what you pay for.

Check reviews on BBB and Google, most are not good.

Also there is a ruling from a complaint with the Attorney General in New Jersey that can be searched on Google and read. It seems to be all the same complaints over and over and they just continue to ignore them.

Detailed email sent on May 29, 2020, to customer service after phone call with Owen... cc'd to various higher-ups (CEO, etc) NO response as of 6/29/2020.

Re-sent same email today.Pool opening has been yet another hassle and disappointment. We still do not have parts needed, rim on light inside of pool has fallen off, "time dogs" to set stop/start on pool pump timer were not provided.

Again... no response....

Contract signed Dec 2017 with promise of starting as soon as we closed on house under construction. Gave notice as soon as we had closing date (4/25/18); pool was not started until mid-June; completed mid-October (with incorrect coping, too bad for us); no pool school provided so we are guessing how to operate our pool; lack of communication between departments of AS was/is their normal operations; still have not been in pool; plaster crew dumped cleanout in landscape beds; parts missing for pool and filter; plaster mottled/inconsistent color AND cracking already; management condescending and disinterested in our problems with installation; difficult/bordering impossible to get in contact with anyone in office or have anyone return calls... I could continue but you probably get the idea.

I have had issues from the beginning with A &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;S.

The salesman Mike Duffy was disorganized, rude and never held accountable for any of his wrong doings. Once, they get your money they have zero interest in correcting any issues that occur during your project.

They installed the wrong color coping, broken retaining wall tiles, and what they consider a "rough grade" is now going to cost me 6k to repair. They refuse meetings, put you to voicemail, and act is if they ignore you, that you will go away.

Do your self a favor and save yourself a ton of money and headaches. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
