started excavation in the spring and all looked great. then the re bar, then the gunite, then things started slowing down. the equipment and pipes and electric finally got done and now its May. and then it became June and basically nothing has gotten done except for one row of tile. they put in a cutout for the track for the pool cover. apparently this was the first time they have ever done that since the design of it doesn't allow for it to be installed as it is. so now they are going to have to chop into the nice smooth concrete to be able to screw in the track. that will lead to a repair of the damage they will have to do and more time. so i will have a repaired wall, not as good as it was. they also forgot to put in a certain drain pipe that is critical but i was told whoever does the hardscape can put that in. thats an extra cost for me. they also want the hardscaper to fix all the damage caused by all the runoff of mud left around the excavation.

today is June 15, no end in sight and i am laying in bed this morning thinking about this pool and feeling upset. i don't think that is the way they want their clients to feel and i hope they finally get their act together and finish the pool.

besides the pool not getting done and apparently not getting done correctly there is no communication and no results.

i would not recommend this company at this present time. maybe all will be rectified and i'll be happy enough with the pool to let all these bad feeling go and i hope thats the case but for now it doesn't seen likely.

Anthony Sylvan has been opening and closing my pool for the past 18 years but this year the crew they sent was totally inefficient

I had to ask the tech if he checked my pool heater and blower

Now I cant attach my pool cleaner to the pool because they installed the wrong outlet and I cant replace it because they screwed it on too tight

I did 4 months of research with 5 different companies before we started our pool. I went and looked at a dozen different pools before we signed a contract. The Quality, Professionalism and the "Little Extra Attention to Detail" was by far the best with Anthony Sylvan Pools! When I met Tim Clarke, our designer, I knew I had the right company. He was fantastic at taking our ideas and dreams and making it a reality. I was simply AMAZED at what he can do on his computer to see him create exactly what we wanted! Also, his connections with other Vendors is how we got everything to fall together to look like the best back yard ever. You pay a little bit more, but I learned you get what you pay for. When you are doing a major project like *** in your backyard, you don’t want to cut corners or have any problems. And if something does come up, you want a professional company like Anthony Sylvan to handle it. That is why they are the biggest and the best. Plus, they have a life time warranty! I am so thankful that i took my time and did my research. If you do research too, you will come back to Anthony Sylvan Pools!

In May 2009, AS Pool came to our house to open the pool. When they came, I was not home but my husband, who was very ill, was home.

My husbank was not able to monitor them because he was too sick.

When the left, the skimmers were left not working and the timer to turn the filter on and off was also not working.

They did not tell us that they had not done the skimmers so for a week I kept trying to figure out what was wrong. When I finally called AS, they said they did not hook up the skimmers because there was not enough water in the pool.

My question was "when were you going to tell us the skimmers were not hooked up/" Anyway, they came back out, a week later, and finished up the job. The timer on the filter was never fixed.
